Simple Self-Healing Meditations to Try Anytime

Don’t overthink it. Just start where you are. Here are a few meditations you can use throughout your day:

1. Deep Breathing

Close your eyes. Inhale slowly. Exhale even slower. Let the breath guide you back into your body.

2. Body Scan

Bring gentle awareness to each part of your body from your head to your toes. Notice where you’re holding tension, and soften.

3. Guided Mantras

Speak a gentle affirmation aloud or silently. Try: “I release what no longer serves me.” “I trust my intuition and move forward with peace.”

4. Walking Meditation

Take a quiet walk. Feel each step. Notice your breath. Let the movement bring clarity and calm.

5. Reflective Reading

Pause with a meaningful quote, prayer, or passage. Let it sit with you for a few minutes before continuing your day.

6. Loving Kindness Meditation

Focus on someone, a loved one, a stranger, or even yourself. Send them thoughts of peace, compassion, and love. Let it expand outward.
